Editorial Policy

orime.in is a digital news and entertainment publication covering movies, television, celebrities, pop culture, regional cinema, and the entertainment industry more broadly. We publish news, features, reviews, box office updates, celebrity stories, and industry developments, with the aim of giving readers useful information without turning every story into a sales pitch.

Mission & Editorial Independence

Our goal is pretty straightforward: report entertainment news accurately, cover the stories our readers actually care about, and give our writers room to have an opinion when the story calls for one.

We may earn revenue through advertising, sponsored placements, and commercial partnerships. Those relationships, however, do not decide what we publish or how we review a movie, television series, celebrity, or other entertainment property. Advertisers, studios, PR agencies, and commercial partners do not have editorial control over our reporting or reviews.

We believe readers should be able to tell the difference between editorial coverage and advertising. If we recommend something, criticize something, or simply report on it, that decision comes from the editorial side of the publication.

Editorial Standards & Guidelines

Entertainment news can move very quickly. A casting report can change overnight, a rumored project can disappear a week later, and something that looks like a major announcement can sometimes turn out to be nothing at all. Because of that, we try to be careful about what we publish and how we describe it.

Accuracy & Rumors: We make reasonable efforts to verify information before publishing. When a story is based on a rumor, report, leak, or unconfirmed information, we will identify it as such. We don’t want speculation to be mistaken for fact.

Reviews & Critical Independence: Reviews on orime.in reflect the opinions of our writers. Not every movie will work for every reviewer, and that’s perfectly fine. We do not accept payment, gifts, or other incentives in exchange for positive reviews or favorable coverage.

Sources & Attribution: Our stories may use information from official announcements, press releases, interviews, industry sources, and established entertainment publications. When information comes from an outside source, we aim to make that clear rather than presenting someone else’s reporting as our own.

Responsible Coverage: There is already plenty of sensationalism in entertainment media. We don’t see much value in adding more of it. We avoid knowingly publishing defamatory claims, malicious gossip, or personal attacks simply because they might generate clicks. Developing stories are treated as developing stories, and confirmed information is kept separate from speculation whenever possible.

Content Submissions & Corrections

Writers, publicists, studios, distributors, agencies, and other entertainment professionals can send news tips, press releases, story ideas, and guest pitches to contact@orime.in.

A submission does not automatically mean it will be published. The editorial team reviews submissions based on relevance, quality, accuracy, and whether the material is something our readers would actually find useful.

Corrections Policy

We try to get things right the first time, but we’re not going to pretend mistakes never happen. Entertainment news changes quickly, and sometimes an article needs to be corrected or updated after publication.

If you notice a factual error in one of our articles or reviews, please email contact@orime.in with the subject line “Correction Request.” Include the article link and, if possible, point out the specific information that needs to be corrected.

Once we verify the error, we will correct it as soon as reasonably possible. Articles may also be updated when new information becomes available. We won’t change direct quotations or established facts simply to make an old story look better in hindsight.
